| Alan
was born in Murfreesboro, TN and graduated from
Central High School in 1971. He served 5 years in the US
Air Force as a telephone switching equipment repairman
and was honorably discharged as a sergeant. In 1976 Alan
attended Middle Tennessee State University majoring in
Mass Communications. He worked as a DJ in the Nashville
radio market before moving to north Texas in 1980 where he
started a career in computers. He worked for Texas
Utilites and Tandy Corporation (Radio Shack). In 1989 he
created a computer program to automate radio stations
worldwide. From 2000 to 2005 he worked for TXU, a Texas
electric energy provider. He left them to work for himself (from home!)
as a broadcast software developer and consulting contractor. =).
He writes software that automates radio and television stations,
and software that generates automated weather forecasts for XM Satellite and
other radio stations nationwide. Alan is a Christian and enjoys
music, nature, hiking, camping, computers, movies,
concerts, photography, and genealogy. Alan has two
children; Brian, who recently graduated from Texas Christian
University and Hayley, who attends the University of North TX. Alan is of British, Scottish, and Irish ancestry. |
Tina was born in Seattle, WA and graduated
from Coronado High School in El Paso in 1994. Tina
graduated from the University of Texas at El Paso with a
Bachelors of Business Administration in Computer
Information Systems in 1998. She moved to north Texas and
entered into a computer career at TXU, a Texas electric
energy provider and left them in 2005 to pursue contract work.
She'd rather work from home! =). She works with Visual
Basic .NET, Crystal Reports, SQL Server, LINQ and more. She is
currently a contract programmer. She recently developed a cell phone texting service for radio stations. She also creates reports to
manage accounting, designs custom Windows® applications and
web sites as well as various other computer related contract
work. She knows hardware as well as software. Tina is a
Christian and enjoys organizing, camping, hiking,
swimming, computers, and concerts. Her ancestors are from
Panama and Mexico. She has visited both countries and
enjoys travel adventures.
