Hello,my husband's lineage is from Richard b1654, the first English Buffington to arrive in the U.S.They lived in Chester County. Brandywine area. He was friend of William Penn and Ben Franklin! Richard contributed much to colonial history. Signed many documents. Later the Buffingtons settled Lykens Valley,PA in the 1700's. My husband lived near Lykens with his Grandmother Alverta Estelle Buffington, William Buffington's daughter. She died in 1953.
